Before you start

The travel platform consists of the easy-to-use “myCWT” online booking tool and the option of contacting Lehmann Reisen AG, a travel agency in Bern, for personal consultations, quotes and ticket purchases. The University has set up this travel platform to achieve goals at several different levels:

• Focus on services: professional consultations and booking services via the Customer Support team or an online booking tool (myCWT)
• Ease the administrative burden: as a way for everybody to delegate tasks related to travel arrangements (Customer Support) as well as eliminate expenses claims for people traveling by plane, train and rental car
• Duty of care: if extraordinary events occur, the University can determine more easily the regions where our employees are traveling
• The travel platform supports the University’s carbon accounting through the provision of a travel data report
